Geldards successfully advise on the sale of Good Food Wines Limited to Kiril Mischeff Limited

Geldards has successfully advised the shareholders of specialist ingredient business Good Food Wines on its sale to Kiril Mischeff Ltd.

Based in Kent, Good Food Wines are a leading supplier of alcohol, vinegars and condiments to the food and drinks manufacturing industries. The company has achieved steady growth to become a leader in the field supplying quality ingredients to a range of customers including large manufacturers and independent suppliers alike.

The acquisition  of Good Food Wines by Kiril Mischeff, one of Europe’s leading food and ingredient suppliers, will enable them to capitalise on significant revenue synergies due to the complementary product portfolio of both businesses. The current management team comprising Mike Yates and Stuart Medcalf will continue to lead the business which will retain all staff and continue to trade as Good Food Wines Limited.

The Geldards team, led by Corporate Partner and Food Sector Head Peter Seary advised on the sale with support from Manjot Shokar (Corporate), Hugh White (Corporate), Jenny Chatten (Banking), Andrew Evans (Tax), Caroline Findlay (Property) and Sophie Henwood (Corporate).
