Property Dispute Resolution expert Llinos Davies promoted to Partner
Property dispute and litigation specialist Llinos Davies has been promoted to Partner in Geldards’ latest new year round of promotions.
Llinos joined Geldards over a decade ago as a trainee solicitor, having previously undertaken work experience in the firm’s Cardiff office. She went on to complete her training with Geldards and has spent several years honing her career specialising in property disputes and litigation.
Over that time, she has built close relationships with her clients, acting for well-known national retailers, charitable organisations, utility providers, Welsh Government and local authorities, advising on a range of complex property disputes and high value litigation matters.
A key member of Geldards’ Legal 500 Tier 1 Property Litigation team, Llinos has been recognised by Legal 500 as a ‘Leading Associate’ for her work on Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 lease renewal proceedings, acting on behalf of both landlords and tenants. A prestigious endorsement demonstrating the strength of her technical knowledge and deep sector knowledge.
She is a fluent Welsh speaker and regularly advises clients in the Welsh Language. Llinos will also be supporting the firm’s involvement in the Welsh Language Commissioner’s scheme to encourage and improve the use of Welsh in the workplace.
Commenting on her promotion Jeff Pearson, Chief Executive at Geldards, said:
“I am delighted that Llinos has achieved the role of Partner. Since joining Geldards over ten years ago she has worked incredibly hard to foster close client relationships and develop her specialism. She is a valued and talented member of Geldards’ first-class Property Litigation team and I offer my sincere congratulations on her promotion.”
