Asya is a Legal Assistant within the Education team in the London office. She assists on a wide range of Education matters, with a particular focus on Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND).
Asya works closely with Salise Dourmoush, assisting primarily on SEND and Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) appeals, alongside other special educational needs-related matters. Her role involves supporting clients through often complex and sensitive processes, and she is committed to ensuring that matters are handled with care and precision.
Prior to joining Geldards, Asya completed a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology and Psychology, graduating in 2021. She also holds a Postgraduate diploma in Law, incorporated into a Master’s degree of Law, which she completed in 2025. In addition, Asya has worked in mental health law, which has given her a solid foundation in dealing with extremely sensitive matters, empathetically and competently.
