Family law expert Kate Keenan promoted to Partner

Experienced family lawyer Kate Keenan has been promoted to Partner in the latest round of new year promotions at Geldards.

A financial specialist in Geldards’ top tier Legal 500 Family law team based in the East Midlands, Kate advises on all aspects of financial matters arising from the breakdown of a relationship. Since joining the firm over six years ago, Kate has brought to bear her specialist financial expertise and manages a complex caseload of mid to high net worth clients managing cases often involving significant business interests, pensions, trusts and third-party involvement.

Kate is a strong advocate for alternative dispute resolution and often helps clients to settle disagreements amicably without resorting to Court proceedings.  She also specialises in children matters and is dedicated to helping clients to successfully resolve arrangements for children following a relationship breakdown.

In Spring last year, Kate co-founded the ‘Pride Park Netwalking Group’ in Derby, an innovative variation on traditional business networking.
